Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe
The Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe is mostly a French language School. Part of an international network founded in 1884, we give French courses in Brussels since 1945.

Belgian Federal Science Policy
The Belgian Federal Science Policy Office was previously known as the 'Federal Office for Scientific, Technical and Cultural Affairs' (OSTC). This name change follows the Copernic reform of Belgium's federal administration.
The department's interventions cover a very broad area. It manages an annual budget of about 513 million euro. Today, it has some 2.700 staff, 33% of whom are university graduates (Federal average: 19%) and 55% of whom are contractual staff. There are more or less equal numbers of women and men.

C.A.D.
C.A.D. is a private college based in Brussels. Founded in 1961, C.A.D. is the only college in Belgium and in France to provide an English/American-style education in the fields of design, advertising, web design and interior architecture. All courses are taught by active and eminent professionals. C.A.D.'s main objective is to help students develop their creative potentials and, ultimately, express themselves. C.A.D. is attended by 130 students and employs as many as 50 teachers.

Today, the ENGLISH ACADEMY offers language lessons to companies all over Belgium, from Brugge to Arlon. Lessons are also given in our own offices in Brussels.

Faculté universitaire de Gembloux
La Faculté de Gembloux est une institution universitaire de la Communauté française de Belgique.
Son domaine de compétence concerne les sciences agronomiques et l’ingénierie biologique qui inclut les sciences du vivant et la gestion de l’environnement.

Hogeschool Sint-Lukas Brussel

Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel
De HUB is een uniek concept. Het is een hogeschool en universiteit samen. Daardoor volg je als hogeschoolstudent voor sommige vakken dezelfde lessen als de universiteitsstudenten. En omgekeerd. Je hebt soms ook dezelfde docenten. Maar de samenwerking tussen hogeschool en universiteit gaat nog verder. In sommige academische opleidingen heb je zelfs helemaal hetzelfde programma: je ontvangt dan ook een gezamenlijk diploma (van een hogeschool én van een universiteit).

Institute for European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles
The Institute for European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles – Université d’Europe has since its foundation in 1963, asserted itself as a key player in the four areas of research, education, European public debate and international relations. It has earned the Institute to be recognized as a Jean Monnet centre of excellence. In 2008-2009, it hosted some 280 students and has graduated around 5000 people in nearly fifty years.

International Master in European Studies
Designed for those who wish to study, understand and experience Europe. The International Master in European Studies is a postgraduate program which provides students with a professional knowledge of the European dimensions at the institutional, policy and funding levels. It is organized by the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Institute of European Studies of the Université Catholique de Louvain.



Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle
En 1959, un groupe de jeunes animés par Raymond Ravar, analysait « Hiroshima, mon amour » d’Alain Resnais, et engageait une réflexion sur les pratiques du cinéma et du théâtre à l’Institut de Sociologie de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.). De fil en aiguille naquit le désir de créer une école des arts du spectacle.
Trois ans plus tard, très exactement en avril 1962, l’Insas était porté sur les fonts baptismaux avec l’idée non seulement qu’il fallait former des professionnels à tous les métiers, mais aussi que l’apprentissage des disciplines du spectacle reposait sur le principe de la complémentarité : un enseignement de la mise en scène ne peut se concevoir sans l’existence parallèle d’une formation d’acteurs; un enseignement du montage et du son s’applique nécessairement à un projet global de réalisation.

Institute for European Studies
The Institute for European Studies is an autonomous department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). It was created in 2001 through an initiative taken by the Flemish Government. It teaches advanced Master programmes, and focuses on interdisciplinary research in European Studies, more specifically on the role of the EU in an international setting. Within this scope, it provides academic services to scholars, policy makers and the general public.

ISRIB, Institute for the encouragement of Scientific Research and Innovation of Brussels
ISRIB, which was instituted by the Brussels decree of 26 June 2003, began its activites on 1st July 2004. The mission of the Institute is to promote, support and valorize scientific research and technological innovation in the Brussels-Capital Region.

King's College London
King's College London is one of the oldest and most prestigious UK university institutions. It has over 19,500 students. There are nine Schools of Study, which offer around 200 undergraduate programmes, over 230 postgraduate taught programmes and an extensive range of research opportunities.

Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel
The Concert Society (Concertvereniging) vzw was born in the lap of the Brussels Royal Conservatory. Each year the Society programmes a series of concerts in which the students at the Conservatory get the chance to gain experience of performing on stage. Teachers and students work together intensively to prepare for these concerts, an experience which undoubtedly makes a positive contribution to the students' education.
In addition the Society organises numerous master classes and colloquia given by nationally and internationally famed musicians. All these activities lead to an intensive interaction between the academic and professional worlds.


La Cambre
Septembre 2009 marquera un nouveau tournant à La Cambre : l’École a en effet choisi de s’associer, au sein d’une plate-forme de coopération transdisciplinaire, avec les deux autres écoles supérieures des arts de la Communauté française à Bruxelles : le Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles –musique et arts de la parole– et l’INSAS –théâtre et cinéma. L’École supérieure des arts de la danse, aujourd’hui en projet, pourra nous l’espérons rejoindre rapidement cette plate-forme.



Law & Business in Europe

Royal Military Academy
L'Ecole royale militaire (ERM) fut fondée en 1834. Jusqu'en 1874, elle est située rue de Namur, dans le centre de Bruxelles. Par manque d'espace, elle déménagea quelques années plus tard à l'abbaye de la Cambre, à la périphérie de la capitale. En 1908-1909, l'institution prend ses quartiers dans les bâtiments actuels, à l'avenue de la Renaissance.



Saint Luc Bruxelles L’Institut Supérieur d’Architecture Saint-Luc de Bruxelles cultive avec passion l’enseignement de l’architecture. Il se reconnaît dans un projet pédagogique qui énonce d’une part des valeurs de référence et des convictions et qui, d’autre part, prend et défend une position dans le monde en évolution. School of Philosophy
The School of Philosophy in Belgium is a non-profit making organisation whose origins lie in the School of Economic Science which was founded in London in 1937.
The Belgian School of Philosophy was established in 1973 and today has centres in Brussels, Antwerp and Dilbeek. In Brussels, courses are offered in English, French and Dutch. Internationally the School of Philosophy has branches across Europe, North America and Australia, as well as in Argentina and South Africa.

Université catholique de Louvain
The creation of Universities as an institution was one of the best things to come out of the Middle Ages. The Université catholique de Louvain has played a part in this process with pride since 1425.



Université de Liège
The University of Liege is the only public, pluralist and complete university institution of the French Walloon-Brussels community. It is a part of the Wallonia-Europe University Academy. It aims at maintaining a fair balance between teaching, research and community service activities, in the broad lines recognised by its complete university status.



Universite Libre de Bruxelles
The city of Brussels is the capital of a federal state which has three different administrative regions based on language and has been at the heart of Europe since 1957. It naturally follows that the city should have a university in keeping with its standing and the ULB, with its 21,000 students, 29% of whom come from abroad, and its very cosmopolitan body of staff, is an intrinsically international institution open to both Europe and to the whole world.

Founded in 1831 by the Society of Jesus, the FUNDP (University of Namur) carries on the values of the humanistic tradition through teaching and research: universality, quality, ethical commitment and solidarity. Vrije Universiteit Brussel
The Vrije Universiteit Brussel is the offshoot of the French-speaking Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) that was founded in 1834 by a Brussels lawyer with Flemish origins, Pierre-Théodore Verhaegen. He wanted to establish a university that would be independent from the state and the church and where academic freedom would reign.

University of Kent at Brussels
Kent is the only UK university with a campus in Brussels, ‘the capital of Europe’. The University of Kent at Brussels offers postgraduate degrees taught in English at the Brussels School of International Studies (BSIS).

Maastricht University

ISTI - Institut Superieur de Traducteurs et Interpretes

Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI)
The Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI) is a research institute at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn. Thus, ZEI contributes to finding solutions to unsolved issues of the European Integration and the shaping of Europe’s international role.

European Training Institute (ETI)
ETI is the only training centre in Brussels offering a full range of programmes and seminars dedicated to European Public Affairs. European Training Institute programmes and seminars are fully interactive. They examine all aspects of Public Affairs management, the working of the European Institutions and the best ways of influencing their policies.
