Organisation: Tetra Pak International Post Title: Environment Expert Job Location: Brussels Closing Date: 20 June 2007 Job Description: Environment Expert - Climate JOB DESCRIPTION Environment Expert Job Title: Environment Expert Department Name: Commercial Operations - Environment Location: Brussels, Belgium Reports to: Environment Director Europe Principal Tasks & Responsibilities: • Support the corporate environment team in projects, research and data compilation related to European and environmental issues concerning climate change, carbon-footprint of products and renewable resources • Support to environmental communication and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, including work in industry associations and expert groups • Preparation of seminars and workshops, environmental policy documents and briefings Education/ Qualifications: University or Post-University degree in environmental science/ environmental engineering, environmental economics or equivalent Experience: 2-5 years of relevant work experience Language requirements: Excellent English (mother tongue) and French. Other European languages are a plus Technical & and Professional Skills: • Good knowledge of environmental issues related to renewable resources, climate change, life-cycle assessment and carbon debate • Basic knowledge in EU institutions and policies would be an advantage • Teamwork, drive to achieve, analytical, accurate, eagerness to learn, assertiveness and initiative, structured and disciplined way of working • Proficient presentation and communication skills (including listening!) • Excellent writing skills • Excellent knowledge of MS office software package (word, excel, power point), web based media, internet, search engines, web publishing tools Applications: To be sent to erika.mink@tetrapak.com by latest 20 June 2007 |
