1. Context of the mission
We are actively searching a functional/technical analyst to support the domain IS/Operations-Securities. The functional/technical analyst will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below:
- Knowledge on back office activities wrt securities handling
- Analytical skills to understand business requirements and translate them into functional/technical analysis documents in the domain of securities handling
- Communication skills to actively participate in the discussions with the business representatives
- Experience in functional testing, using the tool Quality Centre
2. Period mission
Start Date: 01/09/2009. Duration: 4 months with possible extension.
3. Language requirement
Sound knowledge of English, French and/or Dutch.

Brussels (Manhattan building near North station).

Required level and content of education University graduate or A1 graduate with experience
Personal skills
Mandatory: Analytical + communication skills.
Preferable:
Business experience required Mandatory: Knowledgeable on back office systems for securities handling

Technical experience required
Mandatory: Preferable: Background as IT technical analyst and/or developer
Functional experience required
Mandatory: 1-3 years of professional experience in the domain of securities handling Preferable: Knowledge of mainframe environment
6. Objective of the job
Functional (and possibly technical) design and testing of functionalities/modules within the domain of securities handling.
