IT Security Consultant specialized in the domain of technical security
The Position:
You will join a growing team of IT security consultants. You will be involved in key security consulting projects. The Information Risk Management practice is in charge of the security services to TRASYS’ customers. These services span organizational and technical advice in the IT security domain (risk assessment, writing of security policies, security awareness, design of security processes, network design, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing …).
As a consultant, you will:
- Perform security consultancy missions in your domain of expertise (i.e. technical security).
- Develop and continuously enhance the methodologies and toolboxes in your domain of expertise (i.e. technical security).
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be expected to possess the following:
- Academic background:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics;
- Complementary degree in Computer Systems Security or related is a strong asset.
- Security professional certifications:
- CISSP and Ethical Hacking are clear advantages.
- General security knowledge:
- Good knowledge of IT technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of information security technologies and solutions.
- Professional experience:
- At least three years of cumulative experience in the field of technical security (e.g. penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, secure infrastructure design, infosec devices effectiveness assessment) either as a consultant or as part of an organization.
- Actual experience with web applications vulnerability assessment is essential.
- Soft skills:
- Structured mind and sharp common sense.
- Team player. Able to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Customer-oriented.
- Languages:
- English: Good verbal and writing commands.
- French or Dutch: Mother tongue or excellent command.
