Junior or Senior Database Manager - BU Database International

IT person with strong interest in Database Marketing

The aim of our business unit Database International is to host and manage European consumer marketing databases for our external clients.

 

Your Challenge :

This role is a combination of technical aspects for database management and client servicing:

• The jobholder will perform technical jobs on relational databases in a production environment, ensuring Customer Database Integration (data sources integration) and/or Campaign Management activities (counts, extracts, reports)
• He/she is responsible for the quality assurance and the consistency of those jobs.
• He /she will answer to the client's demands, from the day to day production processes to advices that bring added-value for the client. This includes contact with our clients, directly and/or as support to our Account Managers.
• This role requires the capacity to combine team spirit and to work in an autonomous way, with a strong sense of ownership.
• It also implies skills to manage a very dynamic, and short term, planning.

Your Profile :

The ideal candidate for a SENIOR position :

• has a degree in ICT (university or A1 level)
• has several years of experience with RDMS and SQL
• has experience in batch environment (type Sun/Solaris)
• experience in Direct Marketing (address management) is an asset
• is a very good communicator and client minded
• is creative, solution oriented and multitasks
• is bilingual (NL/ EN or FR/EN). A third language is a plus

The ideal candidate for a JUNIOR position :

• has a degree in ICT ( university or A1 level)
• has already exposure to RDMS (internship, thesis,...)
• experience in batch environment (type : Sun/Solaris,...) is an asset
• is a very good communicator and client minded
• is creative, solution oriented and multitasks
• is bilingual (NL/ EN or FR/EN). A third language is a plus
