Job description

As a Medical Services Dental Officer your challenges and tasks will be the following:

. Develop best practices & procedures for future clients signing up to the dental benefit.

·Preauthorization of dental treatment.

·Calculation of reimbursement for dental claims

·Approval of appropriate dental treatment based on adjudication of information submitted and correct evaluation of dental appropriateness.

·Maintain relationships with Groups, clients and internal customers.

·Assist with client queries on dental claims and team e-mails.

·Entry of treatment guarantees into the system

·Checking policies for coverage and completing treatment guarantees up to authorization stage

·Following up on outstanding cases by e-mail and telephone

.Reviewing the work queues and preparing for distribution and system management

Profile

·Dental experience

·Dental qualification an advantage

·Experience within in the insurance industry, ideally in healthcare

·Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

·Customer focused

·Strong communication (verbal & written)

·Ability to work effectively within a team environment

·Honesty and Integrity

·Ability to work under pressure

·Ability to work on own initiative

·Highly motivated and proactive

·Results driven and solution orientated
