Key person between sales & marketing
Job description
- You represent the bridge between the European Marketing Department and the different European Sales Markets. Based on your knowledge and on market intelligence of your specific region, you translate the marketing plan into a tactical commercial strategy in order to develop the business growth and profitability.
- You set up a clear process for all key internal stakeholders through key account plans for strategic customers and/or channels. You understand the needs and give guidance in brand management, category management, trade channels, marketing planning, in store communication and supply chain to the functional experts in order to develop supporting tools and winning sales concepts towards strategic customers.
- Your role is crucial in organizing top down and bottom up communication flows by adding value, by streamlining and by aligning the process on existing business and in setting clear priorities to acquire new customers.
- You agree, align and commit with the marketing department on clear deliverables for specific product launches and promotional programs.
- You manage your own local marketing budget and you make sure that these funds are invested in key business drivers with positive ROI.
- You are located in the European Sales & Marketing department in Brussels and travel regularly in Europe.
Profile
- You have 4 years of successful experience in sales, trade marketing or category management, by preference in an FMCG and international environment. Working experience in Germany and/or the UK is a strong asset.
- You are a conceptual worker with strong analytical skills. You combine a strategic, a tactical and an operational mindset.
- You are a pro-active, assertive and independent professional with excellent negotiation skills and persuasiveness to coordinate international customer projects with the internal interfaces.
- You are a hands-on team player who is able to arouse enthusiasm with your colleagues.
- Your English is fluent. A good knowledge of German and/or Dutch is an asset.
