We are now seeking a professional with at least 5 years of experience in Online Communications and Social Media.

You have a web background and are able to understand web issues and the architecture of websites. You are able to help analyse web issues and to provide advice on the evaluation of a web-project.
You will follow the developments in the sector of Online Communication & Social Media, with a focus on the tools used by the European Communities.
Tasks
Developing, implementing and managing at a strategic level, the use of social media within Intrasoft International, focusing on standards, acceptable use and engagement.
Setting and enforcing standards with regard to social media across the company’s departments in areas such as technical, content, design, process and customer standards.
Engaging with other business units within INTRASOFT International to assist in the delivery of key initiatives using digital channels
Defining the Intrasoft approaches as an exemplar of best practice in digital communication
Assisting business development across INTRASOFT International with relevant tenders.
Provide methodological assistance in the development, streamlining & rationalization of EC Online Communications (streamlining of national public service online communications - in particular national government web portals).
Advising on the strategic development of Social Media use by the EC.
Identifying emerging online communication trends & practices & helping to assess their suitability for the EC.
Drafting reflection papers / vision documents.
Knowledge and Skills
5-10 years of experience in developing and implementing digital communications activities from a policy and programme perspective.
Excellent drafting and communication skills in English.
In-depth knowledge of social media, with a focus on evaluation activity - on-line monitoring tools.
Excellent knowledge of open source technologies.
Experienced in policy development and implementation– with in-depth experience of working with implementing national or cross government programmes of work.
Strong knowledge of how emerging communication tools, technologies or approaches can be harnessed by a public service from a policy and operational experience.
Strong understanding of technical issues and the architecture of websites.
In-depth experience in analysing web issues and to providing advice on the evaluation of web projects.
