• possess a degree, preferably in translation or in modern languages, or an equivalent professional qualification;
• be of English or French mother tongue (NATO translators translate only into their mother tongue);
• have a relevant professional experience.

Nato is located slightly outside of Brussels, but there is a bus that passes in front of the NATO buildings. (The bus that goes to and from the airport). It seems that all NATO personnel need a high security clearance, which need to be cleared before getting the NATO job.
