General requirements:
- University Degree
- Good knowledge of the two official NATO languages (English and French)
Nato "L" Grade - Nato Jobs Linguistic positions
Nato Translators and Nato Interpreters
- possess a degree, preferably in translation or in modern languages, or an equivalent professional qualification;
- be of English or French mother tongue (NATO translators translate only into their mother tongue);
- have a relevant professional experience.
- relevant conference interpreting experience; (for translators)
- English AND French as "active" languages. (for translators)
"B" Grade Nato posts
Secretarial level
Nato Secretarial staff are recruited in the following categories:
Typists (grade B.2)
Secretaries (grade B.3)
Assistant/Executive Secretary (grade B.4) (4 yeas experience in NATO)

Nato is located slightly outside of Brussels, but there is a bus that passes in front of the NATO buildings. (The bus that goes to and from the airport). It seems that all NATO personnel need a high security clearance, which need to be cleared before getting the NATO job.
