Brussels Journalist Jobs Eu Commission
The EU Commission press card will give Brussels Journalists access to the press room and the Commission’s
Breydel building where the commission holds daily press conferences. The daily briefing is given to Brussels
journalists by the head of Service. Brussels Journalists can find a lot of material on Europa Website. Press conference last anywhere between 10 minutes and 50
minutes, sometimes press conferences go on in the lobby and bar where spokes people agree to speak ' off the
record' to Brussels Journalists. The Commission press room has a bar for Brussels Journalists, it opens from
9:00am to 6:00pm. Note that Institutional functionaries are not allowed to give any official comments to Brussels
journalists. When applying for the accreditation pass from the commission, you can request to have access to all
EU institutions, however it is submit your email to the other institutions in order to get their press
releases.
The Eu Commission press card is valid till the February of the year after the card was issued. In December of the
year the card was issued, the commission will send you application forms for the next year's card.
